    Dr. Hsu is a renowned public speaker, educator, and clinician who draws from her own lived experience as a bi-cultural, bi-lingual Asian American and an established collaborative leader in diverse organizations.

    She brings 20 years of psychological and organizational expertise in settings ranging from clinician training and education, community based health centers, K-12 public schools, entertainment industry, hospice, and university counseling.

    Dr. Hsu provides organizational consulting and speaking engagements to corporate, non-profit, and educational settings locally in Silicon Valley, across the United States, and in Taiwan.

    “Hella” is a homage to our San Francisco Bay Area roots in Northern California.

    About Dr. Helen H. Hsu

    Dr. Helen H. Hsu, PsyD, is a bi-cultural, bi-lingual clinical psychologist, clinical supervisor, educator, and founder of Hella Mental Health LLC.

    She is a proud immigrant, working-class graduate of alternative education and community college prior to earning a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Asian American Studies from UCLA, and a Psy.D. in Clinical Multi-Cultural and Community Psychology from Alliant International University-CSPP.

    Dr. Hsu is a Stanford University psychologist, who began her career supervising K-12 school-based clinical services and training future community-based psychotherapists.

    Dr. Hsu is a Past President and Fellow of the Asian American Psychological Association, an advisory board member of the JED Foundation, Past Chair of the American Psychological Association (APA) Minority Fellowship Program Training Advisory Committee, Past Committee member of the APA Committee on Sexual Orientation and Gender Expression and is President-Elect of APA Div. 45 (Society for the Psychological Study of Culture, Ethnicity and Race.)
